JAMIE LITTLE
ESPN NASCAR PIT REPORTER
ESPN NASCAR pit reporter Jamie Little is an experienced action sports and motorsports reporter for ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, serving as a pit reporter for ESPN’s broadcast of the IndyCar Series season from 2004-2006. She joined ESPN’s NASCAR team for 2007. Additionally, she continues to serve as a reporter on ESPN’s Winter and Summer X Games. Little’s duties in 2008 also include reporting for NASCAR Now, ESPN’s daily news and information program.
Little, the first female reporter on ESPN2’s Motoworld, also has regularly covered Supercross and Motocross competitions on ESPN and ESPN2. She has worked on the Summer and Winter X Games since 2002, serving as a reporter for all disciplines within Moto X. In 2005, she again covered all disciplines of Moto X and reported for BMX Freestyle Dirt. In 2006, Little made her debut covering Rally Car racing, and again brought all Moto X disciplines to fans.
While working on ESPN’s coverage of the IndyCar Series, Little also hosted The Fast Life, an eight-show series on ESPN2 that features a behind-the-scenes look at IndyCar Series drivers.
Her popularity in the motocross world extends beyond television, as she lent her name and likeness to the popular racing video game “MX World Tour Featuring Jamie Little.” She also had a cameo in the 2005 feature film Fantastic Four, which includes an X Games-related scene.
In addition to motor and action sports, Little also served as a feature reporter in ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games in 2003, as a co-host in 2004 and host in 2005. The Great Outdoor Games featured top outdoor athletes competing in timber and target events, sporting dogs and ATV skills competitions.
Before joining ESPN, Little worked as a reporter for NBC, TNN and Speed Channel for a variety of motor and action sports events. She received a journalism degree from San Diego State University in 2001.
