Scott McKain has been a professional speaker, author, seminar leader, and broadcast journalist for more than 20 years. He has entertained, educated and inspired corporate and association audiences in 49 states and 13 countries. Scott McKain’s programs blend research into today’s successful business leaders with media interviews of top celebrities, in order to present up-to-the-minute information to inspire and educate his audiences. For more than twelve years, over two million people watched him every week on television as a journalist and commentator.
Scott McKain is a recipient of the Council of Peers Award of Excellence, considered to be the “Oscar” of the professional speaking industry. He is a member of the Professional Speaker’s “Hall of Fame,” an honor that has been presented to about one hundred of the top communicators in the world – Ronald Reagan, Zig Ziglar and Norman Vincent Peale to name a few.
Scott McKain is also a Certified Speaking Professional – the highest earned designation in professional speaking – and is one of the youngest members elected to the Speakers Roundtable – a select group of outstanding business speakers considered by many to be the best in the world.
Scott McKain has served on the Board of Directors of the National Safety Council, the Advisory Council on Vocational Education, and was Chairman of the official Bicentennial project for his home state of Indiana. He has been named to “Who’s Who Among America’s Emerging Leaders,” and as one of the “Outstanding Young Men in America.”
Among Scott McKain’s many speaking appearances over the years was his selection by Arnold Schwarzenegger to be emcee and speaker on the White House lawn for the “Great American Workout.” He has also interviewed some of the nation’s top celebrities on the essence and secrets of success – people like Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis and Jim Carrey.
Scott McKain is president of the McKain Performance Group in California, a company dedicated to improving personal and professional performance, and is currently working on his latest book, “ALL Business is Show Business!”
