Speaking professionally since 1963, Jeanne Robertson specializes in using clean humor based on her life experiences. (Barefooted with her hair “mashed” down, she’s 6’2” in her size 11 stocking feet.) She has been awarded every top honor in her profession. In 1989, this CPAE Speakers Hall of Fame recipient became the first woman to receive the Cavett Award, given by the National Speakers Association for long-term contributions to the speaking profession. In 1998, Toastmasters International named her the recipient of its Golden Gavel Award, which is presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding skills in communincation and leadership.
