ART TUROCK
CHANGE EXPERT
As an innovator and authority in the field of “breakthrough performance,” Art Turock is a master at turning theoretical concepts into hard-hitting practicality. Art’s ideas have empowered a diverse set of clients from Fortune 500’s, to major associations, to franchise organizations, and have been featured in Success Magazine, Association magazine, USA Today, and The One Minute Manager series.
As a professional speaker since 1976, Art supplements his hundreds of annual interviews with peak performers, with continuing research into organizational change. This information flow enables him to develop unique solutions for emerging business challenges that can be implemented immediately.
Excited and intrigued by adult motivation and training, Art earned advanced degrees in both psychology and education at the University of Florida. At age 26, he was offered a rare opportunity to design and manage a statewide “training of trainers” project of the University of Iowa’s College of Medicine. His program design included opportunities for workshop leaders to test their limits and remained a prototype for developing trainers for many years. In 1984, Art self-published his motivational ideas in the Book “Getting Physical: How to Stick With Your Exercise Program” later published by Doubleday.
An early “defining moment” came when he was asked to step down as managing partner of his first training company in 1982. Within five years he had reinvented his role from a regional workshop leader to an international platform speaker. This personal experience with unwanted change allows Art to more closely relate to his audiences and help them maintain a “results-driven” focus under any and all business circumstances.
Today, after thousands of customized presentations, Art’s training background, depth of material, and personal commitment, combine to offer information and presentation versatility that is captivating, provocative, and useful.
