BEN CRENSHAW

GOLFING LEGEND

Ben Crenshaw’s respect and love for the game of golf captivated the world. From his first win on tour to his most recent triumph as captain of the United States Ryder Cup Team, Ben inspires people and is considered one of the most popular and talented players on the PGA Tour.

Ben Crenshaw captured 19 PGA tour wins and four international titles. Included in his wins are two memorable Masters championships in 1984 and 1995.

After achieving success in his chosen field of professional golf, Ben Crenshaw has branched into exciting roles. Aside from taking on the role as captain of the victorious Ryder Cup Team, a two year commitment, Ben has continued to build the reputation of his architecture firm, Coore & Crenshaw. Along with his partner Bill Coore, Ben has received recognition for courses such as The Sand Hills in Mullen, Nebraska; The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Hawaii; The Warren Course at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Ben made the transition to entrepreneur, serving as the President of Crenshaw Golf, a Dallas firm in the golf course management field.

But golf will always be Ben Crenshaw’s true love. He is determined to play the “back nine” Senior Tour with equal resolve.

Ben released his memoirs in April 2000. The book is called A Feel for the Game, To Brookline and Back.
