Donald Van de Mark is Senior Vice President of Programming and co-founder of MyPrimeTime, Inc. and co-anchor of public television’s “Great Entrepreneurs” which is now debuting on PBS stations. MyPrimeTime and Nightly Business Report jointly produce Great Entrepreneurs©.
As the Senior Vice President of Programming, Donald and his team have produced over 7,000 articles including video and audio interviews focused on delivering information and tools to peak performers.
Some of the highlights of myprimetime.com include broadband videos of Donald’s interviews with leaders of the New Economy, such as Jim Clark, co-founder of Netscape and AOL CEO Steve Case. “Tips for Tightwads” is a popular feature in our Money pillar along with a free online seminar with the Dale Carnegie Institute for people who want to live the lives they imagine.
Donald has interviewed over one hundred leaders of the New Economy and reported on their philosophies of life and business in a weekly feature on PBS’ Nightly Business Report called Prime Movers™.
Before coming to California as co-founder of MyPrimeTime, Donald was instrumental in the launch of the first digital, non-linear television network, CNNfn. He co-created, anchored and set the editorial direction for four original, daily television shows that became the signature shows on CNNfn: Washington Unwrapped, The Media Show, Biz Buzz and Entrepreneurs Only. In his final year with the network, Donald also anchored and set the editorial direction of CNNfn’s premier market program, Street Sweep, as well as MoneyWeek on CNN. Van de Mark was also a correspondent and substitute anchor on The Moneyline Newshour.
For the previous 17 years, Donald covered the White House and Congress for CNBC and worked as the Communications Director for Barry Diller at QVC.
Donald holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University where he majored in political science.
